LONDON
WHERE TO STAY: ONE FINE STAY
One Fine Stay is the new, luxurious way to travel and live like a local. When you book with One Fine Stay, you will live in the finest homes and villas in your location of choice.
Priding themselves on being a leading hospitality brand, their level of service is unmatched.
Each home is hand-selected and must meet their exacting standards. You won’t find anywhere else like them, because they are exclusively available through One Fine Stay. They even have an app which allows you to book cleaning services. Book your table reservations and exclusive activities, such as helicopter rides and boat trips.
When I visited London, I stayed in a beautiful, spacious apartment in Earls Court. The kitchen and bathroom were furnished in white marble with gold and pastel accents. It also had a rooftop and a small terrace with a barbeque and vibrant plant life.
I was welcomed to this beautiful home from home by a concierge from One Fine Stay, and greeted by the most delicious British treats. Their wonderful service is something to be in awe of. Their Travel Advisors will help you find a home that is perfect for your stay, creating a bespoke trip with their extra services to make your experience one never to forget.
Calling it a home from home is no exaggeration. I loved being able to have my own space to relax after long days exploring London, and hosting guests for dinner. These luxury apartments can accommodate large groups of people, making them perfect for families and friends who travel together.
When you don’t feel like going out, and you just want to curl up on the sofa, with a mug of tea and the fireplace cracking in the background, you are in your own little world!
There are two collections of properties offered by One Fine Stay, city and villa. The City collection offers homes in world-class cities across the world, and the Villa collection offers dreamy villas in some of the most exotic countries. You will always find the perfect property for your trip.
GUDE TO CHELSEA AND KENSINGTON
When I stayed in London with One Fine Stay, I was based in Earls Court. It’s one of the prettiest and most exclusive neighbourhoods in London!
Here are some of my favourite spots to visit in the area.
Peggy Porschen is a cute little cafe on the corner of Elizabeth Street. Their seasonal outdoor displays are a reason to visit time and time again, from polar bears in winter, to giant floral displays in the summer, and their cakes are just as stunning.
Drop-in here for tea and cake, or if you’re looking for something more substantial, hop onto the tube to Green Park, and visit Fortnum and Mason for afternoon tea.
After you’ve eaten their delicious sandwiches and scones, you can purchase the iconic products from the shop downstairs. Produce from Fortnum and Mason make wonderful gifts for loved ones!
WHERE TO EAT
When it’s time for dinner, Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse on Kings Road serve mouth-watering food and expertly mixed cocktails. When in London, why not enjoy your meal in a restaurant owned by a world-renowned British chef?
WHAT TO DO
If you’re looking for things to do, London’s most popular Museums and Parks are within walking distance.
The Natural History and Science Museum, and the V&A all have exciting exhibitions running. Last year, the V&A ran a beautiful exhibition of Dior gowns called “Designer of Dreams”.
If you’d like some fresh air, picnics in the park, feeding the ducks and taking a pedalo out onto Hyde Park’s serpentine offer a relaxing respite from the busy city. You can head over there after a morning of window shopping at the iconic Harrods department store.
